Toxicology Report Dead Pretu Rules Out Poisoning

WILLEMSTAD – Luigi Florentina ( Pretu ) died by hanging. There was no question of toxicity. This is evident from the section and toxicological report of the Dutch Forensic Institute (NFI) and the findings of the pathologist, as was announced by the Public Prosecution on Tuesday.

The conclusion of the pathologist reads as follows: “Autopsy on the body of the now 27 years old L.L. Florentina, the occurrence of death can be explained by suffocation as a complication of concealed external mechanical force on the neck / the scalp, matching the description of hanging. The cause of death showed no toxicological contribution. Macroscopically and light microscopically, there was no morbid cause to or for the cause of the death.”

The results of both reports have been discussed with the Florentina family. For privacy reasons, there will be no statement made about the content of the report.

The results of the reports of the NFI will be included in the investigation. The results of the investigation of the Investigation Team can be expected in the foreseeable future.
