    WILLEMSTAD - Gerrit “Gert” Rip (52) is beëdigd als nieuwe Officier van Justitie  (OvJ) van het Openbaar Ministerie (OM) Curaçao. Hij is dinsdag 9 april 2013 beëdigd door Procureur-Generaal Dick Piar.
    Gert Rip was reeds eerder werkzaam bij het OM Curaçao en wel van 2002 tot 2006. In Nederland was hij na 2006 werkzaam bij het Openbaar Ministerie in Rotterdam en vervolgens het Landelijk Parket, gevestigd in Rotterdam.
